Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun. In the 1980s the actress began her acting career. She became famous for her role as Tezaab, in which she starred with veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Her next role was in Dil where she was on screen with Aamir. In her early years she began developing her skills at a young age. At the age of 15 began acting, but struggled as many films she made were not successful. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and then became one of the top actors in the Indian film industry. After her marriage was over, she took a few months to rest from her acting career until she returned. Recently, she had an important role in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women living in India. Dixit is nominated in 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these she's received 8. She was also honored with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Social work by her is popular.
