Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. As a teen, Rosalia has explored the outskirts of both pop and traditional music. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as being smooth, elegant and sharp while also possessing a bit of bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit topping the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning a Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami the third album by her, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released on the 20th of March, 2022 following the performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to appear solo on the show. Motomami the album by Rosalia that won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to win the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
